These terms apply to orders from baggedsoil.ca, run by Bagged Soil in Toronto, Ontario. By sending an order request you accept them.
How ordering works
- You send an order request from the cart. Nothing is charged at this point.
- Within one business day we email you to confirm availability, the final total (products, shipping and any applicable GST/HST) and how to pay.
- The contract is formed when you pay for the confirmed order. We ship once payment is received.
If you don't pay within 7 days of our confirmation, we may cancel the request. We may decline an order, for example if a mix is out of stock or the address is outside the area we ship to; in that case nothing is charged.
Products
Our mixes are blends of the components listed on each product page. They contain no fertilizer. Natural materials vary a little from batch to batch in colour and particle size. The plants a mix is described as suitable for are general guidance; results depend on light, watering and care.
Product pictures on this site are illustrations and AI visualisations, not photos of a specific bag.
Prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars and don't include shipping or applicable taxes, which are shown in the cart and in our confirmation. If we find an obvious pricing error, we'll tell you before you pay.
Shipping
We ship within Canada, except Quebec for now. The shipping price depends on the province or territory chosen in the cart, so your address must be there; if it isn't, we'll contact you before shipping. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Details are on the shipping page.

Safe use
Store bags in a dry place. Avoid breathing dust when pouring dry mix: lightly moisten it first or pour outdoors, and wash your hands after use. Not for consumption.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as the loss of a plant. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other consumer protection law that applies to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
